Tadhg Toomey

Tadhg Toomey has held various IT-related roles throughout their career. Tadhg is currently the IT Director at Coolmore Stud since December 2018. Prior to that, they served as the Head of International IT at J. Murphy & Sons Limited from April 2016 to November 2018. Tadhg also worked as a Global Senior Manager for IT Projects/Programmes at Kentz from July 2012 to December 2015, and as the Group Software Development Manager at Kentz in Qatar and Saudi Arabia from January 2008 to July 2012. Before that, they held positions at Davy, the International School of Choueifat in Dubai, Seabrook Research Ltd., Staples, and Dell.

From 1992 to 1997, Tadhg Toomey attended Rockwell College, although no degree or field of study was specified during this time.

From 1997 to 2002, Tadhg Toomey studied at the Institute of Technology, Carlow, where they obtained a BSc in IT Management with First Class Honours.

In 2004 and 2005, Tadhg Toomey attended Dublin City University, earning an MSc in Technical E-Commerce.

From 2012 to 2014, Tadhg Toomey pursued an MBA degree at Alliance Manchester Business School.

In addition to their formal education, Tadhg Toomey has obtained several certifications. In 2010, they received the ITIL Certificate in IT Service Management from APMG-International and the ISO 20000 certification in IT Service Management from the ISO International Organization for Standardization. In 2011, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. In 2015, they completed the People Leader Development Program (PLDP) offered by Lee Hecht Harrison Knightsbridge, and became a Certified Practitioner in Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) through APMG-International.
