Kalani Leifer

Kalani Leifer is the founder and CEO of COOP, a social media platform for connecting with people who share your interests and passions. Kalani has always been driven by their desire to make a difference in the world and to empower others to do the same.

Kalani's journey began at Google, where they worked as a manager from 2012 to 2013. Kalani then moved on to McKinsey & Company, where they were a fellow associate from 2010 to 2012. In 2008, Kalani joined Teach For America as a corps member and taught history in the NYC Department of Education from 2008 to 2010.

In 2007, Kalani began their studies at Stanford University, where they researched ways to improve education for underserved communities. Kalani also interned at the U.S. House of Representatives in 2006 and at Deutsche Bahn in 2006.

Kalani's experience in the corporate world, in government, and in education has given their a unique perspective on how to effect change. Her passion for making a difference in the world is what led their to create COOP, which strives to connect people with shared interests and passions so that they can empower each other to make a difference in their communities.

Kalani Leifer has a Master of Arts in Education from The City University of New York and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Stanford University.
