Michael la Cour

Michael la Cour's work experience includes various roles in different companies. Michael is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Coop Trading A/S, starting in May 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Global Head of Commercial & Digitalization at Ingka Centres from January 2021 to May 2022. From September 2013 to January 2021, they served as the Managing Director at IKEA Food AB. Before that, they worked at IKEA of Sweden as a Business Area Manager from August 2009 to August 2013. Michael also has experience working at IKEA, where they held the positions of General Manager IKEA Orlando from June 2007 to July 2009, and Global Purchasing Manager IKEA Asia from January 2000 to June 2007. Michael'searliest known role was as a Purchasing Manager at ALDI Denmark from January 1994 to August 1998.

From 1998 to 2000, Michael la Cour attended Aalborg University, where they earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in International Management.
