Craig Barnes is an accomplished geophysicist with extensive experience in exploration and geophysics, currently serving as the Exploration and Geophysics Lead at Cooper Energy since August 2012. Previous roles include Exploration Manager and Subsurface Team Leader - Gippsland. Prior experience includes a position as a Geophysicist at Saudi Aramco, where responsibilities involved integrating geological and geophysical data for unconventional resource drilling opportunities. Craig also held the title of Geoscience Manager/Principal Explorationist at Salinas Energy Limited, setting strategic direction for exploration projects. Early career development began at Santos Ltd, progressing from Graduate to Senior Geophysicist, with significant involvement in geophysical interpretation and prospect generation. Craig holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Geology from the University of Adelaide.
