Tom Walrut

As a senior associate in Cooper Grace Ward’s private client team, Tom assists clients with tax and commercial issues with a focus on achieving practical, commercial and tax effective outcomes in transactional, structuring and restructuring matters.

Tom brings over 14 years’ experience in providing technical advice on federal and state tax matters and acting on business sales and acquisitions. Tom is a firm believer in first understanding client outcomes and desires (and getting to know client businesses) and then tailoring advice and solutions to match.

Tom also regularly presents at the Tax Institute of Australia on CGT rollovers, duty and land tax and general business and enterprise structuring.
