Chris Kewley has a diverse and extensive work experience. Chris currently works at Cooper Lighting Solutions as the Director of Engineering & Continuous Improvement/Lean. In this role, they oversee product lifecycle management, engineering activities, and continuous improvement measures across various operations. Chris leads globally based engineering and program management teams, supporting new product launches and existing lighting product management for a large corporation.
Prior to their current role, Chris was an Engineering Manager at Eaton - Lighting, where they led the Division VAVE engineering team in achieving significant cost savings. Chris also has experience as the Director of Engineering & Manufacturing at McLanahan Corporation and as an Engineering Manager at the same company. Before that, they worked as a General Manager at R.L. Nobles Enterprises, Inc., a Mechanical Engineer at Sparton Electronics, and a Mechanical Engineer Technician in the United States Navy - Underwater Sound Reference Detachment (Civilian).
Chris Kewley obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida, where they studied from 1989 to 1994. In 2012, they pursued a Masters degree in Business Administration and Management from Saint Leo University, completing their studies in 2015. Additionally, they hold certifications in Lean Six Sigma and Engineering in Training from the state of FL.
