Mark Buchanan

Mark Buchanan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in manufacturing and operations management. Currently serving as Business Unit Manager at Cooper Standard since May 2013, Mark is a core member of the Management Team focused on strategic execution to attain company goals. Previous roles include Supervisor of Operations, overseeing 130 employees across multiple shifts, and Extrusion Supervisor, responsible for personnel assessment and training. Prior to Cooper Standard, Mark held the position of Business Unit Manager at Magna International from 2006 to 2013, where accountability involved managing resources to achieve quality and operational efficiency targets. Mark's career began at Michigan Precision Industries (Southern Fineblanking), where, from 1983 to 2006, responsibilities as Manufacturing Manager/Continuous Improvement Coordinator included tracking division standards and scheduling personnel to meet objectives.
