Jonathan Smotherman has extensive experience in the steel industry, currently serving as Production Manager and Sub Fabrication Project Manager at Cooper Steel since January 2019. Previously, Jonathan held roles as a Field Intern and Operations Intern at Cooper Steel Inc. in 2018 and 2017, respectively. Jonathan earned a Master of Engineering in Structural Engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Tennessee Technological University. Additionally, an Associate of Science in Civil Engineering was obtained from Motlow State Community College, following a High School Diploma from Shelbyville Central High School.
