Alan Yang

Alan Yang is the Vice President & General Manager - Asia at Cooper Tire & Rubber. Alan has over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting. Alan started their career as an International Division Controller - China at Barnes Group Inc. where they were responsible for setting up and leading the finance team to handle all financial functions. Alan then moved on to Barnes Group Inc. as the Group Controller where they were responsible for overseeing the finance function for the company's businesses in Europe, Asia and Latin America. During their time at Barnes Group Inc., Alan was named the Employee of the Year for Corporate Office due to their excellent performance. After Barnes Group Inc., Alan spent a short time at Jabil Circuit as the Director of Finance for their Asia Pacific region before joining Cooper Tire & Rubber in 2012.

Alan Yang has a MBA in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a B.A. in Economics with a concentration in MIS from the University of International Business and Economics.

They work with Phil Kortokrax - Senior Vice President - Global Operations & Procurement, Ben Patel - Senior Vice President & Chief Technology Officer, and Jerry Bialek - Interim Chief Financial Officer. Their manager is Brad Hughes, President & CEO.
