Janet Lavin Carr has extensive work experience in revenue cycle and operations management. Janet began their career as the Billing Manager at Pediatrics of the Mainline in 1995. Janet then joined Quest Diagnostics in 1997, where they held various roles, including Director of Revenue Operations and Director of Quality and Revenue Control Audit Operations. At Quest Diagnostics, they led teams and implemented strategies to reduce costs, increase reimbursement, and improve productivity. In 2016, Janet joined Main Line Health as a Revenue Integrity Strategist, where they developed strategies to improve revenue and ensure proper charge capture and reconciliation. Currently, Janet holds multiple roles at Cooper University Health Care, including Director of Revenue Integrity, Performance Improvements & Denial Analytics, and Director of Revenue Cycle Training & Education.
Janet Lavin Carr obtained a BA degree in Finance from Immaculata University, which they attended from 2004 to 2007. Janet also holds an Associates degree in Business from Pierce College. Additionally, they have a certification in Six Sigma Green Belt, which they obtained in 2001.
