Melissa Aponte

Melissa Aponte, MBA, has a strong background in human resources and talent acquisition. Melissa currently serves as the Director of Professional Development & Strategic Growth at Cooper University Health Care. In this role, they are responsible for leading professional development initiatives and implementing strategic growth strategies. Prior to their current position, Melissa worked as a Talent Acquisition Partner at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals from 2017 to 2022. Melissa also gained experience as a Human Resources Generalist at ARYZTA from 2016 to 2017, and as a Human Resources Support Specialist at Kennedy Health System from 2011 to 2015. Melissa's early career includes a role as a Human Resources professional at Wastequip from 2002 to 2008.

Melissa Aponte, MBA, holds a Master of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Business Administration and Management from Grand Canyon University. Melissa also has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration from Wilmington University.
