Wendy A. Marano

Wendy A. Marano is an accomplished public relations professional with significant experience in the healthcare sector. Currently serving as the Public Relations Manager at Cooper University Health Care since September 2013, Wendy oversees communications for one of the largest health systems in Southern New Jersey. Previous roles include Communications Manager at The Pennsylvania SPCA, where responsibilities encompassed media relations, crisis communications, and advisory support to senior leadership, as well as Director of Public Relations at Lourdes Health System, managing media relations and messaging. Wendy began their career at St. Francis Medical Center, progressing through various PR roles to become the departmental leader. Additionally, Wendy served as a Writer/Editor for the Association for Information System Professionals early in their career. Wendy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
