Derek van Winkle

Derek Van Winkle is an accomplished AV and Voice Systems Engineer with extensive experience in information technology and telecommunications. Currently serving as an AV & Voice Systems Engineer II at Cooperative Energy since July 2019, Derek has previously held various positions, including Director of Information Technology at Mississippi College School of Law and Director of IT at First Baptist Church of Starkville. As the owner of Starkville Technology Services, Derek has successfully implemented significant cost reductions and network consolidations. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Mississippi State University, an MBA from Mississippi College, and a Bachelor's in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Mississippi State University.
