Alejandro Lara

Alejandro Lara has extensive experience in the optical industry, currently serving as the Director General for Iberia at CooperVision since April 2000, where the company is a market leader in the contact lens sector in Spain and Portugal. Under Alejandro Lara's leadership, CooperVision's market share grew from 8% in 2002 to a leading position. Prior to this role, Alejandro Lara was the Director Comercial for Iberia at Opti+ and managed all optician stores within the group, while also overseeing team training, purchasing, and human resources. Earlier experience includes serving as Área Manager at Opticost, where responsibilities included managing key optician stores, team training, and new store openings. Alejandro Lara holds a degree in Optica y Optometría from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and completed the Senior Management Program at IE Business School.
