Glenn Salkeld is a seasoned public health professional with extensive experience in academia and healthcare management. Currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors at COORDINARE and as Chair of the External Advisory Board at Bond University, Salkeld is also an Honorary Professor at the University of Wollongong and the University of Sydney. Key roles include Senior Professor of Public Health and Executive Dean at the University of Wollongong, and a significant tenure at the University of Sydney that involved significant contributions to health economics and public health education. Salkeld's prior roles include Co-Director at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and a research officer at Western Sydney Area Health Service. Educational qualifications comprise a Master of Public Health and a PhD in Health Economics from the University of Sydney, alongside further studies in health economics from Norway and a Bachelor of Business.

COORDINARE works directly with GPs, other primary health care providers, secondary health care providers and hospitals to improve and better coordinate care across the local health system, for patients requiring care from multiple providers or at risk of poor health outcomes. We find innovative ways of building ‘one coordinated and sustainable health system’ which ensures improved health outcomes, better consumer experiences, enhanced provider satisfaction and increased value for money.
