Lawrence Tallis has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Lawrence started their career as a Scriptwriter for KateModern from October 2007 to July 2008. Lawrence then worked as a Freelance Screenwriter, specializing in Feature Film, TV, and Internet Scriptwriting from October 2007 to 2012. In 2010, they worked for Apropos Films as a Writer for the feature film "Down Dog" from June to September.
Tallis joined COPA90 in September 2012 and held multiple positions, including Producer/Director from September 2012 to August 2014, Senior Channel Producer from August 2014 to April 2015, and Creative Director from April 2015 to March 2017. Lawrence then became the Head of Creative and Editorial, responsible for the strategy and partnerships of all COPA90 content and channels, from March 2017 to March 2019. Tallis later led the new COPA90 Studios Entertainment and Factual divisions as the Head of Factual and Entertainment from February 2019 to January 2020. Subsequently, they became the Creative Director, overseeing the cross-functional creative department, from January 2020 to January 2024. In September 2023, Tallis was promoted to Executive Creative Director, their current role.
Lawrence Tallis completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy at The University of Sheffield from 2002 to 2006. Lawrence then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Film Production at Sheffield Hallam University from 2010 to 2012.
