Cope Foundation
Gearoid Collins is a Senior Physiotherapist at Cope Foundation, specializing in paediatric care for children with complex disabilities within the East Cork Central community disability network team since November 2018. Previously, Gearoid served as a Basic Grade Physiotherapist, gaining experience in postural management, orthotics, hydrotherapy, and student coordination. Prior to Cope Foundation, Gearoid worked as a Social Care Worker at Nua Healthcare Services and Positive Care Ireland, focusing on person-centered plans and crisis intervention. Gearoid began a career in social care as a Project Worker and Social Care Worker at Oaklodge Residential. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from Trinity College Dublin, a Health Services Physiotherapy Assistant degree from Portobello Institute, a Bachelor’s degree in Social Care from Munster Technological University, and a certificate in Community and Health Services from Cork College of Commerce.
