Marian Hennessy Roche

Marian Hennessy Roche is an experienced professional in the field of inclusive employment and training, currently serving as the Ability@Work Programme Manager at Cope Foundation since October 2016, where efforts focus on promoting inclusive workplaces for individuals with learning difficulties in Cork. Prior to this role, Marian held various positions at Cope Foundation from 1991 to 2016, including Team Leader in Doras Training & Employment Development Services and Employment Development Coach. Marian's career also includes managing an inclusive horticultural employment service at the Health Service Executive, coordinating horticultural initiatives at Osrai Community Co-operative, and providing horticultural education at KEY-Kilkenny Employment for Youth and Kilkenny College. Marian's academic background encompasses degrees in Applied Psychology, Sociology, and Disability Studies, alongside a diploma in Commercial Horticulture. Recently, Marian completed the Enhancing Quality for Transition Practitioner Programme to further enhance skills in promoting social change and citizenship for all.
