Laura Carel

Laura Carel, CPA, currently serves as Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Copeland since June 2023, having previously held the same title at Emerson from August 2011 to June 2023. During the tenure at Emerson, Laura Carel progressed through various roles, including Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, Finance Director, Assistant Controller/Sr. Finance Manager, Manager of Compliance for North America, Financial Supervisor, and Internal Audit Senior. Laura began career experience as an Internal Audit Intern at Emerson in 2010. Educational qualifications include an Executive MBA from Washington University in St. Louis - Olin Business School (2017-2019), a Master's in Accountancy with a focus on Accounting-Audit from Truman State University (2010-2011), and a BS in Accounting along with a BA in Business Administration-Finance and a Spanish Minor from Truman State University (2006-2010).
