Simona Jespersen has a broad range of work experience in the aviation industry. Starting in 1999, they worked at Servisair Danmark A/S as a Senior Supervisor, where they trained in computer systems, performed quality control, and handled HR administration. Simona then moved on to Penauille Servisair as a Passenger Manager, where they managed HR, served as a personal assistant to the Managing Director, and handled security management. Simona also worked at Nordic Aero as a Deputy Passenger Manager and at Aviapartner as a freelance Pax Manager.

In 2007, Simona joined Menzies Aviation as a Station Manager, responsible for overseeing daily operations. Simona then worked briefly at Evergreen Helicopters as a Ground Operations Manager. From 2009 to 2011, Simona worked at Transavia as the NPH Director Ops Control, Ground Services & Security Manager. In this role, they had various responsibilities, including working with the Danish Civil Aviation, managing operations control and ground operations staff, and conducting inspections and audits.

Simona then joined Qatar Airways as a Duty Officer and later became the Airport Service Manager for their Copenhagen location. Simona was responsible for the overall control of daily operations and ensuring safety and security compliance.

In 2015, Simona worked at Strömma Group as a Guide Teamleader, and in 2016, they joined Copenhagen Airports A/S. At Copenhagen Airports, Simona held the positions of Operational Supervisor, where they coordinated daily operations and managed security staff, and Head of Commercial Operations & Security Manager.
