Katrine Joensen

Katrine Joensen is a seasoned leader currently serving as Chief Executive Officer of Erhvervshus Hovedstaden since June 2021, while also contributing as an Advisory Board Member for both the Danish Export Academy and the Center for Bæredygtig Erhvervsfremme. In addition, Katrine is a Board Member at C4 Videnscenter and previously held the position of Chairman Of The Board at WineJump, where strategic guidance was provided for a startup focused on enabling direct cross-border sales of wine in Europe. Earlier roles include CEO and Consul General at the Consulate General and Innovation Centre Denmark in Silicon Valley, Deputy Head of Department at The Trade Council, and Deputy Ambassador at the Embassy of Denmark in South Africa. Katrine Joensen has a robust educational background, holding degrees in Political Science and International Affairs from the University of Copenhagen, Stanford University, and the University of Cape Town.
