Jan Friis

Jan Friis is a seasoned professional in the energy sector with extensive experience in management and consulting roles. Currently serving as Managing Director at Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners since September 2023, Jan previously held the position of Consultant at JFC Advisory from July 2021 to August 2023. Prior to that, a significant tenure at Ørsted lasted from October 2010 to March 2021, where Jan contributed as Senior Director, focusing on offshore wind initiatives. Jan's earlier career includes roles as Assistant Director and Head of Partnerships at Deloitte from May 2006 to September 2010, along with positions in private equity transaction services and audit at Deloitte UK, KPMG, and E&Y. Educational credentials include dual M.Sc. degrees in Accounting and Auditing and Business Economics and Auditing from Copenhagen Business School, completed between 2000 and 2007.
