Joern Christiansen

Joern Christiansen has over 40 years of experience in the shipping and logistics industry. Currently serving as Sales Director and Business Manager at Copenhagen Malmö Port since November 2014, Joern coordinates commercial and operational activities for the Liquid and Bulk Terminal. Previous positions include Agency Manager at GAC Denmark, where coordination of cruise vessels in Copenhagen took place, and Agency Manager at Shipping.dk, managing vessel calls for both international and local clients. Joern also held roles in logistics and operations with NORDANA LINE, transshipment arrangements at ESTEPH, and various managerial positions in the textile and transport sectors, including DAN TRANSPORT and SAMSON TRANSPORT CO. Early career experiences included equipment management roles in container operations.
