Luis de Carvalho has extensive work experience in the cruise tourism and maritime sectors. Luis is currently a Danish Tourism Advisory Board Member at the Danish Business Authority and a Cruise Europe Council Member at Cruise Europe. Previously, they served as the Commercial Cruise Director at Copenhagen Malmö Port.

Luis'smost significant role was as the CEO Europe at Bermello Ajamil & Partners, a leading port and destination development firm. Luis held this position from October 2013 to October 2022 and oversaw various aspects of port and destination development, including cruise terminal design, strategic planning, and financial assessment.
