Luis is currently a Danish Tourism Advisory Board Member at the Danish Business Authority and a Cruise Europe Council Member at Cruise Europe. Previously, they served as the Commercial Cruise Director at Copenhagen Malmö Port.
Luis'smost significant role was as the CEO Europe at Bermello Ajamil & Partners, a leading port and destination development firm. Luis held this position from October 2013 to October 2022 and oversaw various aspects of port and destination development, including cruise terminal design, strategic planning, and financial assessment.
Before joining Bermello Ajamil & Partners, Luis de Carvalho was the Conference Director at International Cruise Summit and the CEO of Consult DC, a port and destination development firm that later merged with Bermello Ajamil & Partners.
Luis also has experience in cruise operations, having served as the Director of Cruise Operations Scandinavia at Kuoni Tumlare, Director of Cruise Operations Europe at Tumlare Corporation, and National Director of Cruise Operations Spain at TUI.

Luis de Carvalho's education history includes three notable institutions. We are operating in Copenhagen, Malmö and Visby (cruise only). We provide professional services, combining the right technology, infrastructure and professional expertise to meet the customers requirements. Port development is vital for CMP. A new container terminal as well as a new cruise terminal will be established in Ydre Nordhavn in Copenhagen within the next few years. In Malmö, the new industrial park has been established and in april 2018 our new cruise terminal in Visby was opened.
