Benjamin Osei McIps

Benjamin Osei MCIPS is a seasoned procurement and contracts director currently leading the procurement and contractual delivery of a commercial scale floating offshore wind project at Copenhagen Offshore Partners since August 2022. Previously, Benjamin served as a senior commercial contract manager at Macquarie Group, where responsibilities included negotiating key agreements for floating offshore wind farms. Additional experience encompasses contract management roles at London Array Limited and Ørsted, focusing on various aspects of offshore wind projects across the UK and US. Career beginnings include positions at DONG Energy, Premier Oil, Centrica Energy, and ProProcure, with foundational roles in procurement and contract administration at South Oxfordshire District Council and logistics specialist training in the British Army. Benjamin holds a Master of Science in Strategic Procurement Management from the University of Plymouth and a BA (Hons) in Business Logistics from Oxford Brookes University.
