Dennis Desmarais

Dennis Desmarais is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in transmission and interconnection roles within the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as Senior Director of Transmission and Interconnection at Copia Power since August 2022, Dennis previously held similar positions at Birch Infrastructure, Recurrent Energy, Capital Power Corporation, Element Power, and PacifiCorp, where responsibilities included managing generator interconnections, transmission services, and the development of renewable energy projects. With a foundational background in mechanical engineering from the University of Washington and a Master's degree in Pastoral Ministry from the University of Portland, Dennis has amassed over three decades of experience across various engineering and management roles, contributing significantly to the advancement of transmission systems and renewable energy initiatives.
