Garret Bean

Garret Bean is an experienced professional in the field of energy infrastructure and development, currently serving as the Managing Director at Copia Power since August 2022. Prior to this role, Garret held the position of Managing Director of Development at Birch Infrastructure from November 2020 to September 2022, focusing on strategic project siting and development for data centers and renewable energy projects. From August 2011 to November 2020, Garret was the Vice President of Development, Land and Permitting at sPower, overseeing land development and environmental permitting processes. Earlier in Garret's career, from January 2008 to August 2011, Garret worked as a Fluvial Geomorphologist and Geoscientist at Tetra Tech. Garret Bean earned a Master of Science degree in Geological Sciences from UC Santa Barbara, where studies were completed between 2005 and 2007.
