Andrés Ugarte

Andrés Ugarte has held a variety of roles in the tech industry since 2010. Andrés began their career as a Web Developer and Software Engineer Intern at Zappedy in 2010. Andrés then worked as a Researcher at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in 2011. In 2012, they were a Software Engineer at Groupon and a Software Engineer (II & III) at Google. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Sr. Mobile Engineer & Designer at Vouch and a Senior Software Engineer at both Google and YouTube. Currently, they are the Founder & CEO of Copilot since 2018.

Andrés Ugarte completed a Professional Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile between 2011 and 2012. Andrés also received a B.S in Computer Science and Engineering from the same university between 2006 and 2011. In 2010, they participated in an Education Abroad Program at the University of California, Berkeley, studying Industrial Engineering and Operations Research.
