Raghu Mallena

Raghu Mallena is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in leading engineering and product development efforts across various organizations. Currently serving as the Global CTO at CopilotIQ since January 2025, Raghu focuses on developing AI-enabled platforms to drive job creation globally. Previously, Raghu was the Chief Technology Officer at Wadhwani Foundation from September 2018 to December 2024, and co-founded Plackal Tech, creating a health tracking app for women. Raghu's career includes significant roles at VuNet Systems, Juniper Networks, Cisco Systems, Network Appliance, and Silicon Graphics, where expertise in security, product strategy, and engineering operations was demonstrated. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Distributed Computing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
