Julie Scott

Julie Scott has over 20 years of work experience, beginning in 2001 as a Business Development Manager for Project Design Consultants. Julie then moved to Planning Resources in 2002, where they held the same position. In 2005, they joined Nike as a Transition Management Business Analyst and Project Coordinator. In 2012, they became the Owner and Principal Consultant of J Studio, providing social marketing consultation to minority and women-owned businesses. In 2013, they joined Banfield Pet Hospital as an Associate Product Manager and Product Manager for the Corporate Intranet. In 2019, they joined Metal Toad as a Director of Product and Program Management, Senior Product and Project Manager, and Product Manager and Project Manager. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Coppei as a Senior Product/Program Consultant. Throughout their career, Julie has been responsible for striking a balance between engineering, business strategy and human relationships, delivering a variety of products, creating product roadmaps, facilitating workshops, translating vision and business needs into user stories, managing backlogs, directing and managing large-scale programs, projects and processes, leveraging data and reporting, and proactively reviewing strategic and operational plans.

Julie Scott holds a degree in Linguistics from the University of New South Wales, with a field of study in Socio-Linguistics and Latin American Studies. In December 2019, they obtained an AWS Business Professional certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). In October 2020, they also obtained a Certified SAFe 5 Product Owner/Product Manager certification from Scaled Agile, Inc.
