Dr. Greg Axelson

Dr. Greg Axelson has extensive work experience in the education sector. Dr. Greg began their career in 2008 as a Teacher and Head Coach for Men's Soccer at DESOTO INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT. In 2012, they joined Cedar Hill ISD as an Assistant Principal and worked there until 2014. Following that, they worked as an Assistant Principal at Lewisville ISD from 2014 to 2017. From 2017 to 2020, Dr. Axelson served as a Principal at Coppell ISD, and in June 2020, they were promoted to the position of Chief Operations Officer at the same organization.

Dr. Greg Axelson holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History from Texas A&M University. Dr. Greg then pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree (MA) in Linguistics from the University of North Texas. Additionally, Dr. Axelson earned a Principal Certification in Educational Leadership from the University of North Texas.
