Dominic Peier

Dominic Peier has extensive work experience in software development and engineering roles. Dominic is currently the Software Engineering Team Lead at Copper.co. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Developer at Freetrade from July 2021 to June 2022. Before Freetrade, Dominic was a Senior Software Developer at both Gamesys and HealthQ Technologies from August 2019 to July 2021 and from February 2019 to June 2019, respectively. Dominic also served as a Senior Java Developer - Team Lead at Zailab from September 2015 to December 2018 and as a Java Software Developer at BSG from February 2013 to August 2015. Dominic started their career as a Content Manager at MMG Internet Services from 2010 to 2012.

Dominic Peier attended the University of Cape Town from 2009 to 2011, where they studied BSc Computer Science with a focus on Business Computing. In 2012, they returned to the University of Cape Town for their BCom Honours in Information Systems. Dominic has also obtained certifications in Java SE 7 programming, MongoDB for Java Developers, and Programming Mobile Applications for Android Handheld Systems.
