Derick Shipe

Derick Shipe is a Plant Engineer at Copper Moon Coffee since October 2021, previously serving as a Maintenance Supervisor at The Andersons, Inc. from May 2020 to October 2021. Prior roles include Manufacturing Engineer at Subaru of Indiana Automotive from May 2017 to May 2020, where responsibilities focused on optimizing conveyance systems in the Paint Shop, and Maintenance Engineer at Dow AgroSciences from June 2014 to May 2017, aimed at enhancing production equipment reliability. Derick's early experience includes internships at John Deere as a Product Engineering Intern and Product Development Specialist Intern, where contributions involved feasibility builds and equipment testing, as well as a Design Engineer Intern role at Kain Tool INC. Derick holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Purdue University, obtained in 2014.
