Thomas Wilent is an experienced network professional and educator with a comprehensive background in network engineering and consulting. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at both the University of Maryland Global Campus and ECPI University, Thomas instructs on advanced routing technologies and measures performance in Network Automation. Previous roles include Lead Network Engineer at Brilliant Solutions, Inc., where responsibilities included designing and maintaining LAN/WAN networks, and Network Consultant Engineer at Cisco, focusing on maintenance and upgrades for the joint strike fighter program. Thomas has a military background with the United States Air Force, managing extensive network infrastructure and communications systems. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Network and Communications Management from Keller Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor's degree in Speech Communications from Penn State University.
