David Finkelstein

David Finkelstein is a business owner of Paisley Lace Boutique LLC and Simple Changes LLC since February 2018, responsible for managing supply inventory and purchasing from multiple vendors in Maryland. As a teacher at Baltimore City Public Schools since July 2014, David has taught 1st Grade, Kindergarten, Pre-K, and Physical Education, while also mentoring new teachers and coordinating the playground committee. Additionally, David serves as the Lil Kickers and Lacrosse Director at Coppermine, focusing on customer feedback and equipment organization. Previously, David was the founding Kindergarten teacher at KIPP DC, integrating technology into lessons and assisting with reading intervention services, and also worked as a PreK teacher at Excel Public Charter School. Earlier experiences include lead coach/coordinator at Keith Van Eron Pro Soccer and administrative roles with the National Association of Postal Supervisors and the US Small Business Administration. David holds a Master of Education in Education Leadership and Policy from American University and a BAS in Political Science and Economics from Shepherd University.
