Yamina BENCHABANE has a diverse work experience in the field of cosmetic and personal care development. Yamina started their career as a QC Chemist at SGS in 2013. Later, they worked as a Development Chemist at L'Oréal in 2014 and then as a Sensory Analysis Project Lead at Eurofins Marketing Research in 2016. In 2017, they joined CHANEL as a Development Chemist specializing in makeup. Yamina took a gap year in 2018, during which they worked for a working visa. From 2019 to 2020, they served as a Scientific Project Lead at NAOS, specifically Bioderma, Institut Esthederm, and Etat Pur. In 2021, they worked as an R&D Engineer at L'Oréal. Currently, they hold the position of Technical Sales Engineer EMEA at Coptis, starting from 2023.
Yamina Benchabane's education history begins in 2012 when they attended Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, where they pursued a DUT in Chemistry. Yamina completed this degree in 2014. Following this, they enrolled at ISIPCA and obtained a professional license in Analyses & Applications Cosmétiques with a specialization in formulation cosmétique from 2014 to 2015. In 2015, Yamina continued their education at Aix-Marseille University, where they pursued a Master's degree in Analyse Sensorielle, which they completed in 2016. Lastly, in 2016 and 2017, they attended Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 again and achieved their Master 2 (M2) in Formulation et Chimie industrielle.
