Elena Rivera-Cheek, MBA, has completed several educational achievements throughout their career. In 1997, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Stony Brook University, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. Following this, in 2002, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Media Management from the Metropolitan College of New York, which they completed in 2003.

In 2019, Elena focused on executive education and attended the MIT Sloan School of Management for a program in Digital Business Strategy.

Apart from their formal education, Elena holds various certifications and memberships. In 2018, they received an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau. In 2019, they became a member of The Business Council of Westchester. Additionally, Elena obtained several memberships, including Westchester Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Westchester County Association, and Chief (NY) in 2022, 2021, and 2021 respectively. Elena also achieved the Minority Business Enterprise certification from the New York & New Jersey Minority Supplier Development Council, Inc. in 2013.
