Andy Hoyle has an extensive work experience history. Andy started their career in 1998 as a VP Technical Services at Preferred Connections Inc., NW. In 1999, they joined the Myrtle Point Police Department as a Reserve Police Sergeant. In 2010, they transitioned to Coquille Valley Hospital, where they held various roles in the Information Technology and Informatics department, including IT/Informatics Technical Lead and Manager Information Technology and Informatics. In 2012, Andy joined the Oregon Air National Guard as a First Sergeant and later took on the role of Mission Support Group First Sergeant. In 2017, they became a Human Resource Advisor in the same organization and is currently serving as the Security Forces DSG SEL.

Coquille Valley Hospital provides 24-hour emergency, medical, surgical, obstetrical, and pediatric care together with an extensive array of clinical support services. Coquille Valley Hospital is a designated Critical Access hospital with a Level IV Trauma Certification. The hospital’s goal is to provide high quality services for the communities that it serves. That primary service area includes the Oregon communities of Coquille, Myrtle Point, Powers, Bridge, Fairview and a number of neighboring communities within the Coquille River Valley, comprising a population of approximately 12,000 to 13,000 residents.
