Marcelo Ikegawa is currently a Partner and Chief Credit Officer at Cora. Prior to this, they held the same position at XP Investimentos from October 2020 to January 2022. Before that, they were with Zen Finance from March 2018 to October 2020.

Marcelo also monitored the Corporate Credit Risk Portfolio, with data analysis and performance evaluation of key indicators like ratings, market information, finance ratios, provision for credit losses and early warnings of credit risk.

Before that, at Zen Finance, Marcelo was responsible for assessing the wholesale bank’s credit risk of products and operations, designing the framework for credit treatments. The scope of products included corporate credit exposures like asset products, importation and exportation, real-estate, securitizations and project financing. Marcelo was also responsible for estimation of the impact of collaterals in the credit risk of structures.

Marcelo Ikegawa has a MPA from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, a specialization in Business Administration from Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa, and an undergraduation in Telecommunications Engineering from Instituto Nacional de Telecomunicações - Inatel.
