Alexander van Olst

Alexander van Olst has a wealth of experience in software engineering and development. Alexander began their career in 2009 as a Tutor at the University of Cape Town. In 2010, they moved on to become a Desktop Technician at Quantum Leap Consulting. In 2012, they became a Software Developer at Santam. In 2015, they joined IMGN Technologies as a Software Developer. In 2017, they returned to Sporting Solutions as a Senior Scala Engineer / Team Lead. In 2019, they moved to Risk.Ident GmbH as a Senior Scala Developer. In 2021, they rejoined Sporting Solutions as a Technical Lead and Senior Software Engineer. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Coralogix as a Software Engineer.

Alexander van Olst has a comprehensive educational background. Alexander obtained a BSc from the University of Cape Town in 2008, followed by a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science in 2011. In 2017, they earned two Coursera certifications, "Functional Program Design in Scala" and "Functional Programming Principles in Scala". Most recently, in July 2021, they became Sumo Logic Search Mastery Certified.
