Zdeněk Hřebíček

Zdeněk Hřebíček has been working in the software engineering field since 2013. Zdeněk began their career as a NOC operator - Customer Care at GiTy. In 2015, they moved to IXPERTA as a SW Developer. In 2017, they joined Honeywell Technology Solutions, Inc. as a Big Data Developer, developing streaming micro services with Apache Spark, Kafka and Cassandra in Scala. In 2018, they joined Kiwi.com as a Big Data Developer, developing ad-hoc data pipelines for the research team. In 2019, they moved to UpStart Commerce as a Scala Developer, developing back-end for an e-commerce platform. In 2021, they joined Ziverge as a Senior Software Engineer and Coralogix as a Technical Lead and Software Engineer, working with back-end streaming, ingestion, grpc, code-gen, k8s operators, data pipelines, Rust and Scala.

Zdeněk Hřebíček completed their graduation/leaving examination from SPŠE Brno in 2011 in the field of Multimediální komunikace. Zdeněk then went on to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Teleinformatics from Brno University of Technology between 2011 and 2014. After that, they completed an Inženýr (Ing.) degree in Communications and Informatics from the same university between 2014 and 2016. Zdeněk also has obtained certifications from Coursera in Getting Started with Google Kubernetes Engine (2018), Big Data Analysis with Scala and Spark (2017), Functional Program Design in Scala (2017), Parallel programming (2017), and Functional Programming Principles in Scala (2017).
