Tom Luersen has extensive work experience in the hospitality industry. Tom started their career in 1985 as a Manager of Convention Services at Opryland Hotel. Tom then worked as a Resident Manager at Kingsmill Resort from 1986 to 1991. From 1991 to 1998, they served as the Vice President and Managing Director at Woodland Corporation/Woodlands Resort and Conference Center and San Luis Hotel and Conference Center. Tom then joined Sunriver Resort Limited Partnership as the Vice President and Managing Director for five years before moving to Destination Hotels and Resorts as the Vice President and Regional Managing Director from 2003 to 2012. In 2012, they became the Chief Operating Officer of Lowe Hospitality Resort Communities at Lowe Enterprises. Tom then worked as the Executive Vice President of Operations at Destination Hotels & Resorts from 2014 to 2016. Following that, they became the Chief Operating Officer at Two Roads Hospitality until 2018 when they were appointed as the President of CoralTree Hospitality. Throughout their career, Tom Luersen has focused on optimizing performance and attracting top leadership talent in the industry.
Tom Luersen attended Eastern Kentucky University from 1980 to 1982 as an undergraduate student. Tom then transferred to Florida International University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality from there, completing their studies between 1982 and 1984.
