Teresa Ko has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Teresa has worked as a Business Management Consultant, providing support to start-ups in achieving their business goals and developing efficient processes. Teresa has also served as an Activator for SheEO™, a global initiative supporting women-led ventures. In addition, Teresa has been a Business Advisor for the Forum for Women Entrepreneurs, offering financial strategies to women entrepreneurs. Prior to these roles, they held positions in Business Operations and Compliance Analysis. Teresa also has experience in sustainability performance analysis and internal audit management. Teresa started their career as an intern for Anna Sui and worked as a manager at Ernst & Young.
Teresa Ko has a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) Honours degree in Accounting from the University of Manitoba. Teresa also holds a Certificate, Fashion Arts from Vancouver Community College (VCC). In addition, they have completed the Certificate in Green House Gas Inventory, Accounting, and Reporting from the University of Toronto's School of the Environment and Executive Education in the Corporate Social Responsibility Program from the University of Alberta. Teresa is a Certified Greenhouse Gas Inventory Quantifier and has obtained certifications as a CPA, CMA from Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) and as a Certifiec Internal Auditor (CIA) from The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). Teresa has additional certifications as an ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor from BSI and in The Accountability Project.

Members offer and access resources at their own pace, creating a self-regenerating pay-it-forward pool of skills, connections, funds, and support then used to advance ventures and the collective doing world changing work. Coralus has circulated nearly $16.5M to 170+ women- and nonbinary-led ventures by distributing capital via collective decision-making. 45% of those founders are from chronically excluded racial and ethnic groups. The payback rate on its unsecured 0% interest loans is 95%. Founded in Canada in 2015, Coralus' current footprint includes the US, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK.
