Clayton Messerle

Clayton Messerle is the Director of Athletic Communications at Corban University. Prior to their current position, Messerle worked as a Sales & Marketing Coordinator at State Farm from August 2018 to February 2020. In this role, they were responsible for all existing & new business sales, social networking, marketing, meeting sales goals, providing exceptional customer service, & maintaining healthy customer relationships.

Before working at State Farm, Messerle was the Student Social Media Coordinator at Oregon State University from October 2017 to June 2018. In this role, they were responsible for developing content for Oregon State University's Official Mascot, Benny Beaver, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook; This included capturing in-game/event moments, editing said content, then dispersing at best suitable times. Clayton also provided content for Oregon State Cheer & Dance Social Media Outlets.

Messerle has also held the positions of Marketing/Mascot Captain and BeaverDam Executive Board President at Oregon State University from August 2017 to June 2018 and June 2017 to June 2018 respectively. Additionally, they interned in the role of Mascot Marketing Intern at Oregon State University from January 2016 to July 2017.

Clayton Messerle received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Oregon State University. Clayton also received a minor in Business Administration and Management from Oregon State University. Clayton Messerle also received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Southwestern Oregon Community College.

A direct report to Clayton Messerle is and Kasie Kloempkin - Assistant Sports Information Director. Clayton Messerle reports to Marty Ziesemer, Athletic Director. They work with Kylie McMinn - Head Women's Lacrosse Coach, Kary Hadden - Head Men's Wrestling Coach, and Nate Quilling - Gym Facilities Coordinator.
