Ian Hodgson

Ian Hodgson has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Ian currently holds the position of Vice President Clinical Operations at Corbus Pharmaceuticals since October 2022. Previously, they served as a Non Executive Director at mdgroup starting from June 2021. Before that, they worked as a Company Director at Penrith Clinical Consulting from August 2020.

Ian also held various roles at TMC Pharma Services Ltd. Ian served as Vice President Clinical Research from September 2021 to October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Syneos Health as Vice President, Clinical Development - Rare Disease from November 2020 to September 2021.

In their earlier career, Ian worked at Mereo BioPharma as a Consultant, Clinical Advisor from August 2020 to November 2020 and as the Head of Clinical Operations from November 2015 to August 2020. Before joining Takeda, Ian worked at Shire Pharmaceuticals as an Associate Director, Clinical Programmes from May 2007 to January 2013. Ian began their career at ICON plc as a Clinical Project Manager, but the specific dates are not provided.

Ian Hodgson attended the University of Reading from 1990 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Food Science and Technology. Ian then pursued further education at Queen Margaret University College & Edinburgh University from 1994 to 1998, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Medical Microbiology and Bacteriology.
