Vinita Banakar

Vinita Banakar is a Clinical Trial Manager at Corcept Therapeutics since July 2022, leading a phase 1 NASH study and supporting a phase 2 NASH study while managing vendors. Previously, Vinita served as a Senior Clinical Research Associate and Regional Clinical Study Manager at BeiGene from May 2021 to June 2022, overseeing in-house trial management of multiple phase 3 studies in oncology and leading an expanded access study in Waldenstrom Macroglobulinemia. Prior experience includes roles at Pharmacyclics, where Vinita managed phase 2 and global phase 3 studies, and at Digestive Care Medical Center as a Clinical Research Coordinator focusing on gastroenterological clinical trials. Vinita's academic background includes a Master’s degree in Marine Biotechnology from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from Visvesvaraya Technological University, supplemented by a certification in Clinical Trials Design and Management from San Francisco State University.
