Carlo Guala

Carlo Guala has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Carlo is currently working at CORCYM as the Manager of Nitinol, Mechanical Process & Technology Scouting since June 2021. Prior to that, they worked at LivaNova, where they held multiple roles including Manager of Technology Scouting and Outsourced Processes from May 2018 to June 2021, Innovation Manager from December 2016 to May 2018, and R&D Project Manager from June 2016 to December 2016. Before LivaNova, they worked at Medtronic as a Sr. Project Engineer from July 2011 to June 2016 and as a Project Engineer from May 2010 to July 2011. Additionally, they have experience as a Project Leader Junior at INVATEC from April 2008 to May 2010, a Biomedical Engineer at Sorin Group from May 2007 to March 2008, and as a Research Fellow at Politecnico di Torino - COREP - DI.PRO sas from March 2007 to April 2007.

Carlo Guala began their education in 2001 at Politecnico di Torino, where they pursued a degree in Biomedical Engineering and graduated with honors (110 lode) in 2006. Carlo then enrolled in Alta Scuola Politecnica from 2004 to 2006. In the same period, they also attended Politecnico di Milano, where they obtained a degree in Biomedical Engineering with a score of 110 e lode. Carlo'seducational journey continued from 2015 to 2019 when they pursued a Dottorato di ricerca, specializing in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano.
