Massimiliano Faone

Massimiliano Faone has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Massimiliano started their career in 2006 as a Researcher at Politecnico di Torino. From 2006 to 2015, they worked as a Process Engineer at Sorin Group, where they focused on analyzing and improving manufacturing processes for tissue and mechanical heart valves. Massimiliano utilized Lean Six Sigma and statistical process control methodologies in their role.

In 2015, Faone joined LivaNova as a Process Engineer and later became a Senior Process Engineer in 2018. At LivaNova, they continued to contribute to process improvement initiatives and project management.

Currently, Faone works at CORCYM as a Sr Operational Excellence Engineer, a role they have held since May 2022. Massimiliano also had a previous role at CORCYM as a Sr Process Engineer from June 2021 to May 2022. This role involved supporting manufacturing operations to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as scrap variance and efficiency.

Throughout their career, Faone has demonstrated expertise in operational excellence, process engineering, and project management.

Massimiliano Faone's education history begins in 1995 when they attended Liceo Scientifico di Stato Carlo Cattaneo in Torino, where they obtained their Maturità scientifica. From 2000 to 2003, they pursued their first level degree in Engineering, with a focus on Biomedical Engineering, at Politecnico di Torino. Afterwards, they continued their education at Politecnico di Torino from 2003 to 2005, obtaining a second level degree in Biomedical Engineering with a specialization in Biomechanics and biomaterials.

In terms of additional certifications, Massimiliano Faone earned their License to practice as an engineer from Politecnico di Torino in September 2006. In June 2011, they obtained a Green Belt Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma certification from CEGOS. More recently, in June 2017, they became an Operatore qualificato per camera bianca - ASCCA - ICCCS, completing the program at Politecnico di Milano-ASCCA.
