Germán Larraín

Chief Enterprise Architect, co-founder at Cordada

Germán Larraín has held a variety of roles in the technology industry since 2010. In 2010, they were a Consultant at the AGF (Funds Management) division of LarrainVial, where they developed a data model for the mutual funds research group, implemented the data migration to the database, and researched and implemented a portfolio management model. Germán also held an internship at AVTEX International LLC, where they helped to solve an issue with a medical supplies assembly machine of Becton, Dickinson & Company (BD), designed and programmed the latest generation of Avtex's core propietary software, and received training for the InSight product line at Cognex headquarters.

In 2011, they co-founded LookUP.cl, where they served as CTO. In 2014, they became the CEO and CTO of Medularis. From 2015 to 2018, they were the CTO of InstaGIS, which was later rebranded as Civic Brain (and ultimately to Predictable Media). In this role, they had the responsibilities listed below, and also helped the CEO & founder with strategy definitions and changes. In 2018, they became the CTO of Fynpal, and in 2019 they became the Chief Enterprise Architect and CTO of Cordada.

Germán Larraín obtained a Licence & Professional Title in Electrical and Industrial Engineering from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in 2011, as well as a Master in Sciences in Engineering and Robotics from the same university in 2013. Germán also attended Colegio Padre Hurtado from 1990 to 2004. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Google Cloud Platform Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals from Coursera in May 2020.
