Mallika Keralapura

Mallika Keralapura, PhD has a diverse work experience in the medical and healthcare industry. Mallika started their career in 2002 as a PHD Researcher at UC Davis and later worked as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at UCSF. In 2008, they became an Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering at San Jose State University. Mallika then moved into industry roles, first as a Cross-functional Leader and Research Scientist at U-Systems, A GE Healthcare Company from 2012 to 2014, and later as the Senior Director of Engineering at Delphinus Medical Technologies, Inc. from 2014 to 2017. Mallika also served as a Strategic / Technical Advisor (Consultant) for the Medical Device Industry starting from 2017. Mallika joined Siemens Healthineers in 2018 as a Senior Staff Systems Engineer before becoming the Executive Director of Engineering and Founding Engineer at Cordance Medical in 2019.

Mallika Keralapura, PhD completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Bangalore University in the years 1994 to 1998. Mallika pursued their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from The University of Akron from 1999 to 2001. Mallika then went on to earn their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in the field of Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, Davis, from 2002 to 2006.
